Research Interests: 1) Derivation of land-surface parameters (temperature and soil moisture) from multi-source remote sensing (active/passive, multi-angle, and multi-channel; airborne and satellite);
2) Data assimilation of satellite based land observations into land surface model and weather forecasts model;
3) Applications of satellite observed products, e.g. earth’s diurnal variability, drought monitoring and climate change
